I designed the cosy to carry a small egg (ideal for Easter) and then to be used as a puppet or egg cosy.
The toy is freestanding .
Less than 10g 35oz of bunny colour will make either a cosy or a toy. The other colours need less than half that amount.

I used embroidery thread (floss) to add the facial features and the buttons. I have included instructions for a knitted bunny tail but did use a bought one too.

Pattern is written to be worked flat but an experienced knitter could easily adapt it to be knitted in the round, I’m just not very good at colourwork done in the round.
