Petit Allium
My new collection called Naturebook includes designs based on simple beauties drawn from nature.

Allium is a genus of plants that include onions, garlic, leeks and shallots. Some species of these plants have striking violet colored spheres as their bloom, even giant varieties!

This spring shawlette design is a heart-shape shawl worked from the top down. It incorporates a lace border with bobbles created without turning your work back and forth. The border is worked from either charts or the full written instructions. Easily resizable, the design is suitable for fingering to worsted weight yarns. Be sure to adjust yardage requirements when making substitutions.

Materials used for sample (weighs 146g):
The Fibre Co. Canopy
3 skeins Jacaranda
a row counter is helpful for this pattern

Acknowledgements:
The border includes elements of a stitch pattern found in the Barbara Walker Treasuries.
