Petite Curie Shawl
by Lori Kuehl
Petite Curies are mobile x-ray units that were designed by Marie Curie. Curie and her daughter then trained other young women how to operate the machines. These women traveled along the front lines in France in WWI to assist doctors in treating wounded soldiers.
The second shawl in my Inspiring Women Shawls Series.
This shawl is specifically designed to showcase your beautiful fingering weight yarns. It is designed to be as big as you want.
