Petite gourmandise is a little cropped cardigan, closed as a crossover top.

Knitted with a positive ease, it is a cosy and warm cardigan, yet a pretty one too, due to its seed stitch pattern on fronts and back.

It is available in babies and girls sizes :
1 (3/6/12/18) months, 2 (4/6/8/10/12) years.

I have used 2 yarns held together to knit my sample (sport + light fingering), but you can use one yarn if you prefer (worsted then).

You will need 150 (175/200/250/275) 300 (325/375/450/500/600) meters / 165 (200/220/275/300) 330 (360/410/500/550/660) yards of a worsted yarn, or the same yardage for each of the 2 yarns.

This pattern is called Petite gourmandise, as there exists a Grande Gourmandise too, for adult sizes…

Petite gourmandise est un petit gilet court croisé sur le devant à la façon d’un cache-coeur.

Tricoté pour être porté avec une aisance positive, c’est un gilet confortable et moelleux, mais néanmoins élégant grâce à son point de semis sur les devants et le dos.

J’ai réalisé mon prototype en tricotant deux fils ensemble (sport + light fingering), mais il peut aussi se tricoter avec un seul fil, de type worsted.
Il vous faudra 150 (175/200/250/275) 300 (325/375/450/500/600) mètres de fil worsted, ou le même métrage pour chacun des deux fils si vous tricotez en double.
