Petrichor
Petrichor… the smell of dust after rain. The smell of leaves and pinecones as they slowly fall apart, returning to where they came from. The smell of a thunderstorm in the forest.
Petrichor is a seamless, double-knit cowl with stranded decals. Use a provisional cast-on to begin, work circular to create the bottom fold, then work the cowl from the bottom-up in double-knitting technique. Finish with a Kitchener stitch to close the top fold for a completely seamless, reversible cowl.
Yarn:
Pattern is written for fingering, sport, DK, and worsted weight yarn.
We recommend wool or wool blends of this project. You will need at least 100 grams of each color. We also recommend one color to be solid or tonal, and the second color to be solid, tonal, ombré, self-striping, or hand-painted.
