Petrichor Beanie
The Petrichor Beanie is knit from the brim to the crown. The brim is worked beginning in color A, then joined for a number of colorwork rounds with color B, then finished off in only color B. The pattern is also easily adaptable to a one-color pattern by following the pattern instructions entirely in one color.
This pattern creates a fitted beanie, not a slouchy one. If you prefer more of a slouchy fit, add length to the beanie by knitting an extra round or two to each of the sections. It also might be beneficial for more of a slouchy fit to go up a needle size after the first (brim) section. Keep in mind that this will affect the yardage needed.
Sizes: Adult small, (medium, large), to fit head circumference of 20” (22”, 23.5”). Negative ease of about 3” is recommended for this pattern to insure a snug fit.
Pattern is written only, not charted.
Big “thank you” to my test knitters, you rocked this knit and I appreciate you so much! <3
