Petrichor is a word that means the pleasant smell of rain falling on the dry earth.

For me, it’s the feeling of relief in summer when you can smell the rain – A respite from the heat and humidity.

These socks were designed as a quick impulse project –
A break during a period with many large projects.

As I sat outside contemplating names for this pattern,
I smelled petrichor.

I hope these quick little socks will also be a pleasant break for you
as they have been for me.
