The bands of color represent different lightsabers from the Star Wars universe and those stripes in the yarn are quick gradients that cause the color bands to glow like lightsabers.

This toe-up sock pattern uses elongated slip stitches to create textured interest. The slip stitch motifs form short bursts of vertical lines reminiscent of laser battles.

The heel is designed to not interrupt the striping pattern on the top of the sock, if you’re using self striping yarn. To achieve this affect, a coordinating yarn can be used for the heel or you can pull from the other end of your yarn cake for the heel.
