No longer available. This was basically a tutorial KAL, and is no longer being sold, since it’s wordy and annoying (even to me). Sometimes, less is more, so I’m offering less. I’ll reactivate the pattern when I’ve made it more concise. Maybe never…haha.

Classic! Shawl-collared classic cardigan styled for the little ones. Generous sizing allowance and fit for boys and girls with optional buttonhole placement, optional pockets, optional striping! Complete tutorial as side pdf includes many techniques and tips for success. We tested this with rank beginners in my group, and they were able to make it. Tutorial proofread and re-loaded Feb. 18, 2014.

Sized with 2-4 inches of positive ease, choose a size based on the child’s measurements, not their age. It is easy to adjust the sleeve and body lengths to accommodate even the most difficult sizing. Sleeves are worked ‘in-the-round’ on two circs or dpns/Magic Loop, whilst the body is worked flat.

Shawl collar is shaped by short-rowing in ribbing--complete tutorial showing all phases of that process as well.

Pattern includes many ‘TIPS’ and tricks to help you achieve the best possible knit for your skill level.

All sizes were thoroughly tested by at least 1-3 knitters; I personally tested the smallest, the 6 and 12 mo, the 3T, and the 6.

I offer complete support for all my patterns via email, my group, or PM. Please see the group KAL for this cardigan if you want a reduced price. ($2.50 for KAL members only).
