Phoenix Shawl
Materials needed size 3 double pointed needles, scraps of fingering /sock yarn about ¼ oz and 30 yards per square, small crochet hook with a fairly narrow center, tapestry needle to weave in ends. Plus about 400 yards for the lace and I- cord edge.

Mitered squares make up this simple shawl and use leftover sock and fingering yarn. It is finished on the bottom edge with knitted lace and on the top edge with an applied I cord.
