Phoenix Skirt
This project is a skirt comprised of modular mitered squares. The cover photo shows a size medium, which consists of approximately two and a half 100g skeins of the main color and about three-quarters of a 100g skein of the contrasting color.
The project size is easily modified by selecting the size of the modular squares, as well as the number of squares used in a single round of the pattern.
I have also knit a version of the project solely out of leftover sock yarn scraps, with each square knit from a different colorway, pattern, or striping repeat. Photos of the leftover skirt are forthcoming.
The project also requires a 1 yard package of 1-inch width woven elastic for the waistband.
