This is a cocoon and baby hat in a piano theme.

It is made in three colors of yarn with some colorwork. That is all very well explained in the pattern. I feel like it would be fine for a beginner but perhaps not brand new crocheter. The finished size is 16” long and 21” wide. The ribbing on the piano keys is perfect for keeping this in place without fasteners.
