This scarf is worked in 2 pieces, starting at the back neck. After the first half is worked, the second half is picked up from the cast on edge and worked in the opposite direction. Alternately, a provisional cast on can be used.

Two sizes are included in the pattern.

Any weight of yarn can be substituted. One sample was done with DK weight yarn.

The scarf starts with a lacey cable pattern. It then transitions into a leafy lace pattern and ends with a faux crochet bindoff (which is done with needles), or a crochet bindoff can be used instead. Instructions for both are included.

Both written as well as charts are included.

This is considered intermediate in difficulty, since the stitch count does not remain constant.

Only half a skein of laceweight yarn is used, or 25-30g, making this an ideal project for a smaller amount of yarn or handspun.
