I really enjoyed this project. I designed it in such a way to eliminate seaming. The skills you will require to complete this bag are: casting on, stockinette stitch, knitting with two colours, and a creative whim.
I have included the use of a crochet hook only as a means to strengthen the ends.
The materials listed are:
Two colour choices; I used about 300m (328 yards) of white in a medium bulk worsted weight as my image colour. My main colour choice was a black acrylic in the same weight and bulk, 765m (836yd), 400g (14oz).
crochet hook
straight needles
a couple of stitch markers to keep things in line
For this project, I am including two charts, which are pictured as the main images on the front and back of the bag.
