The Pick Your Potion patterns inspired by late Autumn, the time of year when the days grow shorter, the shadows lengthen and the dark feels just a bit deeper. A time of beautiful sunsets with pink light, when the last bright leaves stand out against grey skies. The Pick Your Potion Patterns are for a time of transition, with a nod to the spookier season.

This pattern is suitable for the knitter with experience reading a chart and stranded colorwork.

Finished hat is 20” in circumference (unstretched, will fit a range of head sizes) and 8 inches high with brim folded.

Materials:
I’ve used 2 skeins of Deep Velvet and 1 skein each of Pressed Grapes, Quartz Crystal, Grey Harbor, Rusted Roof and Highland Fleece.

Please note, if you would like to knit the matching Pick Your Potion Mittens and Pick your Potion Cowl, you will need 1 additional skein of Deep Velvet.
