Picnic is a large triangle-shaped shawl worked from top to down. Summer fibers like linen or cotton will work best to show off the rustic design.

Finished size: wingspan 76”/194 cm, depth 39”/98 cm. Size is easily adjustable.

Pattern is both written and charted. Skill level is easy.

Materials and tools needed:
• Sport-weight yarn, approx. 830 yards/760 meters for the shawl and 90 yards/80 meters for tassels.
• Hooks: 3.5 mm (E), 4 mm (G)
• Tapestry needle and scissors
• Stitch marker, blocking pins
• 2 winding boards, about 3”/8 cm and 4”/10 cm height.

Pattern is written in standard US terms and fully tested.
