Picnic Bandana
About
Picnic Bandana is a bright addition to your summer wardrobe. Protect your head from the sunlight with this picnic blanket inspired checkered design.
Picnic Bandana is designed to go along with Picnic Sweater and Picnic T-Shirt by Kait Walsh.
Picnic Bandana is knitted starting from the widest part of the bandana. First we knit the colorwork body of the project and then we knit and attach the button band.
Gauge
Gauge is not really important for a bandana, but you might want to adjust your needle size for the desired drape of the finished fabric.
The gauge of the sample is 26 st in 10 cm/4 in using 4mm / US6 needles and aran-weight yarn which gives quite a stiff fabric. If you prefer your bandana to be more drapey, either use thinner yarn or size up your needles.
