This is the written version of my Picot Bandana pattern, with both a no sew and low sew version! This is a great stash buster and a real quick make!

The pattern is geared for crocheters of all levels. It features double crochets, picots, single crochets, and slip stitches. This is written in US terms.

Finished bandana measuring from middle to bottom tip (if following my pattern exactly): 6”

  • GAUGE -
  1. Ch a multiple of 4+6. 3dc in the 7th ch from the hook.
  2. Sk 3 chs, 3dc in the next ch. Repeat until there are 3 chs left.
  3. Sk 2 chs, dc in the final ch.
  4. Ch 3 (counts as a dc), turn, 2dc in the ch space.
  5. Sk 3 sts, 3dc in the next ch space. Repeat until the end of the row, then place 2dc in the final ch space. Dc in the top of the ch.
  6. Ch 3 (counts as a dc), turn. Sk 3 sts, then place 3dc in the next ch sp. Repeat until the end, then sk the last 2 dc, and place 1 dc in the top of the ch 3.
  7. Repeat steps 4-6 for as many rows as you need to meet gauge.
