This knitting pattern is for a Peter Pan style collar, perfect for dressing up or down an outfit depending on the occasion.

Worked in one piece, the collar is gently shaped using increasing and short row shaping technique to ensure that it sits neatly around the neck and onto the shoulders. The picot edge adds a touch of interest to the cast off edge but looks just as good with a simple straight cast off.

You can embellish with embroidery to give the design your own individual look or dress up with a bow tie instead of the button and loop. It’s also a great way to use up all your odd bit’s n bobs of yarn, go to town with random stripes combinations

Finished size: approx 40 cm edge to edge when lying flat & 8 cm deep at front from cast on to cast off edge

To make this design you will need
1 x ball of Dk weight yarn
1 x 3.75mm needles
