Take advantage of the possibilities arising from self-striping sock yarns—they aren’t just for socks! Turtlepurl Turtle Toes sock yarn is used for this modular-knit cowl, which would be equally remarkable as a scarf. The cowl is constructed from four strips, each one alternating increases and decreases that are joined as the adjacent strip is knit. The only sewing required is to join the ends forming a loop. The extra-long length maximizes styling options, allowing for a single or double loop around the neck. The ever-changing color sequence makes knitting this cowl fun and will delight every time it is worn.
