Hand-knits are for special occasions: trips to the pumpkin patch, holiday dinners, and of course - school picture day! Targhee wool, structural and springy, lends oodles of textural depth to cables and ribs that are easy to memorize. Designed for active children, this sweater features plenty of ease and buttons for easy dressing.

The front, back, and sleeves are worked flat from the bottom up, and then seamed. Stitches are picked up and worked for the collar, then the button bands, which are seamed at the bottom.

The pattern features a progress chart so you can check off the instructions row-by-row for the AT THE SAME TIME shaping for the front armhole and neckline shaping.
