When I first looked at the finished shawl it reminded me of blueberries and pies, and there its name,Pie Crust, came from. It has texture but is soft as well, it keeps you warm and still is delicate.

Pie Crust is worked from the top down with a provisional cast on and I-cord edges, in a super easy slip stitch pattern, that you’ll immediately memorize. You can work the body of the shawl for as long as you wish and then switch to the pie crust resembling border. For the border as well, work as may repeats as you wish. You will easily adapt the pattern to your personal preferences.
