Size
One: to fit 51-60 cm circumference.

Yarn
I used OMD Merino light for the two or tree color beanie

  • MC: ca 45 g
  • CC: ca 40 g

I used OMD BFL sock for the one color beanie

  • ca 70 g

This is the perfect project for that one skein of sock yarn that is way too special to put on your feet or the scraps you can’t throw…

Needles
3.5 mm/US or size needed for gauge; 40 cm circular and/or dpns or long circular for magic loop.
3.0 mm/or 0.5 mm sizes than gauge needles (for ribbing); 40cm circular and/or dpns or long circular for magic loop.

Other
8 stitch markers, tapestry needle for weaving.

Gauge
24 sts 10 cm/4” in brioche worked in the round with needle 3.5 mm before blocking.
This is a comfy beanie so gauge is not that important - but be warned I’m a “loose” knitter so if you are a normal one or tight one you might consider using: 3.25 or 3.5 for the hem and 3.5 or 3.75 for the head.

Take time to save time - check your gauge. If necessary, adjust needle size to obtain the correct gauge.

Who can wear it?
Unisex
