This warm, bulky poncho is knitted flat in a front and back panel, which are then seamed together. The turtleneck and sleeve-end ribbing are then added, worked in the round.

A long circular need (~29”) is needed to accommodate the large number of stitches for the front and back panels. Smaller double-pointed needles (or your preferred method for knitting in the round) will be needed for the turtleneck and sleeve-end ribbing.

This poncho is designed for three balls of Lion Brand® Homespun® Thick & Quick® yarn.
