NOTES

• Use a stitch marker or a piece of yarn to mark the end of a round unless otherwise noted. Move the marker up after completing each round.
• Do not crochet too tightly around the curves of the oval for the face or else the oval will curl up.
• Read the instructions for each round or row before working on the round or row.
• You will need two size hooks for this project (4.5mm and 2.5mm).

ABBREVIATIONS (US)
DEC = decrease (an invisible one works best)
FLO = front loops only (front thread of the loop)
INC = increase (2 single crochets in same stitch)
MR = magic ring
R = round/row
SC = single crochet
SL ST = slip stitch 

MATERIALS
• Yarn (colors used in photos in parenthesis):
o 1 color for the face, outer ears, and nostril details (Big Twist, size 4 medium,
color: Light Rose)
o 1 color for the snout and inner ears (Big Twist, size 4 medium, color: Cosmetic Pink)
o White and black for eye details
• 4.5mm and 2.5mm hook
• 12mm safety eyes (and a lighter for melting the backs)
• Stuffing (Poly-fil)
• Yarn needle for sewing on pieces and details
• Scissors
• Stitch markers

SIZE
If the described materials above are used, this holder measures approximately 8” across at the widest point (sides of ears) and 4” at the tallest point (tops of ears). The dimensions of just the oval are 7” x 3.5”.
