Notes:

• Gauge is not important, I have a very tight tension so keep that in mind when you start on this. As long as you keep a consistent tension and keep your stitches tight it should sit about 10 inches tall.
• At the end of each round I have the total number of stitches listed in parentheses. Example: SC, INC x3 (9) = 9 Stitches in that round once completed.
• I am a person who absolutely hates pinning pieces to sew them on. The notated spots of where to put the legs and arms are suggestions, if you prefer them to sit in a different position please do so.
• I would consider this to be an advanced beginner pattern. You’ll need to have a general understanding of how to do single crochets, work in the back loop, make color changes, and do single crochet increases/decreases evenly to not show stuffing. Along with learning a new skill of surface crochet.
