Piggy Pouch is a whimsical bag that would be perfect as a project bag or a purse that gets noticed. The nose is constructed to have a zippered edge to hold small objects such as stitch markers, lip balm or a chocolate stash.

The pattern starts out with just one stitch which you will work back-and-forth across until you have enough stitches to knit in the round. The increases (knit front and back) are adjusted for each round so a line of increases is not evident in the finished project.

Don’t worry if you’ve never made an i-cord or an i-cord edge before; all the instructions you need are in the pattern!

The Piggy Pouch is made with 100% wool fiber so after it is constructed, it is felted to make the stitches tighter. I only did a light felting so you can still see many of the individual stitches.
