These are the yarn and colors I have used, but you can use any yarn you like.

Yarn colors: Scheepjes Colour Crafter::
Yellow 2004 Brussel
Brown 1054 Haarlem
lack 1002 Ede

Other materials:

• A crochet hook one size smaller than your yarn calls for. Use a 3 mm hook if it asks for a 4 mm hook for example.
• Some red wool roving+felting needles, felt or yarn for the cheeks.
• Aluminum wire to keep the tail standing up.
• Some leftover black yarn for the mouth.
• 6 mm safety eyes
• Stuffing
• Scissors
• Tapestry needle
• Running stitch markers
