Pikkuinen is a unisex pullover which can be worked for a girl or a boy by changing yarn. The pullover is worked from top-down without any seaming and includes buttons in left front raglan seam.

Pikkuinen on peruspaita, josta saat tytölle tai pojalle sopivan vaihtamalla langan väriä. Paita neulotaan saumattomasti ylhäältä alas ja nappilista tehdään vasemmanpuoleiseen raglan-saumaan.

The sweater is designed to have some positive ease. Choose a size that is approx. 4”/10 cm larger than the actual circumference of the child. The finished garment circumference is approx. 21.5(23, 24, 25, 26.5, 28, 30.75, 31.5, 33.5, 35.5)”/54.5(58, 61, 63, 67, 72, 78, 80, 85, 90) cm. The sample shown is size 3 months old.

Gauge:
25 sts and 34 rows = 4” 10 cm in Stockinette stitch. Gauge is measured from soaked and blocked swatch. Be careful to check your gauge with soaked and blocked (and dried) swatch to save time.

Materials:
Yarn, greenish sample: Hedgehog fibres skinny singles (100% Merino Wool), 100 g/366m/400yds/skein. You need approx. 1(1, 1, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 3, 3) skeins OR 280(330, 385, 420, 465, 580, 680, 785, 920, 1030)yds/257(300, 350, 382, 430, 530, 620, 720, 840, 945)m of same weight yarn. Choose any other yarn to achieve the correct gauge. Color Sage.

Needles: US 2.5 (3 mm) 24”/60 cm circular needle.
Dpns if necessary to work sleeves in rounds.
Adjust the needle size to get the correct gauge.
Other: Tapestry needle, stitch markers, stitch holders/waste yarn, small (width ~0.4”/1cm) buttons 5(5, 5, 5, 6, 6, 6, 6, 7, 7, 7) pieces.

25 s & 34 krs = 10 cm sileää neuletta. Neuletiheys on mitattu kastellusta mallitilkusta. Kastele aina täysvillainen mallitilkku, koska villa saattaa hieman venähtää kastellessa. Näin saat varmasti oikeankokoisen paidan.
