Piku Socks - simple and easy to remember stitch pattern with beautiful heel.

Socks are knitted from cuff down in the round on circular needles with increases used to form the heel gusset and then short rows.

The pattern is written to be worked using the magic loop method but you can rearrange stitches for Dpns. (place the stitch markers).

Level: Intermediate

Adult Size: S, M, L

S: US 6-7.5, EU 36-37
M: US 8-9, EU 38-39
L: US 10-12, EU 40-43

Yarn:
Light fingering weight yarn.

Yarn used for sample:
Malabrigo Sock: 100% merino wool, 100g – 440 yds/402 m, color Gingy (358)

Total yardage: 220 yds/ 200m – 380yds/348m

Needles:
2.5 mm (US 1.50) circular needles for magic loop or Dpns

Gauge:
19 sts and 24 rows = 2”/ 5 cm in twisted rib (ktbl x p1)
