A fun, summer tee perfect for all of your warm weather adventures. Made with cool cotton yarn in contrasting colors, this tee lends itself to beautiful neutrals with bright pops of color, reminiscent of pink pimelea flowers. Using stockinette stitch on the body and garter stitch on the shoulders and hem, this tee works up like a breeze, with only a little seaming to bring it all together. The Pimelea Tee pairs perfectly with Urth Yarns Monokrom Cotton, put your kits together with Jimmy Beans Wool!

Pattern Notes:
The Pimelea Tee is made with four rectangles (two front pieces, and two back pieces) that are knit flat separately, then seamed at the shoulders using three-needle bind off. The sides, center front, and back of tee are seamed using mattress stitch, leaving a section unseamed in middle to create v-neck opening and along each side for armholes. Finished with garter stitch split-hem border along bottom edge of tee. This tee is easily modifiable to your desired size and fit. Simply add more stitches to each rectangle to increase width, and knit additional rows until desired length is reached. Work seams to create desired neck and arm openings as well. Use your gauge swatch to customize your size. Please note that modifying your garment may affect yardage estimates provided. Sample pictured is size M with 6”/15 cm of positive ease, worn by Justine who is 5’ 4”/163 cm tall with 38”/97 cm chest). Necessary Skills: knit and purl, working with 2 colors, seaming. Pattern made in collaboration with Jimmy Beans Wool.
