This cute little gnome ornament is a quick knit and simple to assemble. It might be hard to make just one!

The hat is small and knit in the round.
The scarf is a short length of i-cord.

Supplies per gnome:
1 wooden bead (3/4 inch)
1 small pine cone about 1 to 1.5” by 2 to 2.5” (I found a small bag for sale at Michaels)
Wood glue (or glue gun)
3-5 grams fingering weight yarn (15-20 yards)
Size 3 dpns or circulars (for circulars combine instructions for needles 2 and 3 to one needle)
Optional – two 3/8” jingle bells or two tiny craft pom poms

If you decide to make one and share on social media please consider using the hashtag #knittedpineconegnome – I would love to see it!
