The Pine Forest Cowl was inspired by peaceful wooded walks in the beautiful pine forests that surround my home. The Pine Forest Cowl is worked from bottom to top. It starts with a lace pine tree stitch border, then moves to a body section. The body section incorporates decreases that mimic the diamond pattern created by yarn overs in the pine tree border. The top of the cowl includes an easy to knit casing that is then seamed on the inside. Adding an i-cord drawstring gives the cowl versatility when facing chilly winter breezes.

The Pine Forest Cowl is knit with one skein of DK weight yarn. Please be sure to obtain correct gauge to ensure sufficient yardage.
