Pine Needle Socks Knitting Pattern

The Pine Needle Socks are inspired by the Western Pine tree, one of my favourite native trees in British Columbia. Its name comes from the stitch pattern featured on the leg and foot of the sock which resembles pine needles.

NOTES
This pattern is written using a cuff-down sock technique and includes instructions for a heel flap and gusset. The pattern is written for 9” circular needles but can easily be adjusted to use magic loop or double pointed needles.

This is a PDF pattern download. The pattern includes written instructions, a schematic, and photos of the finished product.

This pattern includes three sizes: Small (Medium, Large) fitting a 7-8” (9”, 10-11”) in foot circumference and (10-11”, 11-12”, 12-13”) heel circumference with a 1” gauge of 8 sts/11 rows.
