This pattern for a pineapple cocoon and hat include sizing for a newborn, written instructions on making the cocoon and hat, and picture instructions on how to do a crocodile stitch.

I used Yarn Bee Soft Secret yarn for this pattern in the colors butter and lime but you can use any acrylic yarn in similar colors.

I used an “H” crochet hook, about a skein and a half of butter color, and less than half a skein of lime color.

The sizing of the cocoon is approx. 12 inches tall and has a circumference of approx. 18 inches.
The sizing of the hat is approx. 4 1/2 inches tall and has a circumference of approx. 13 1/2 inches.
