This is a pattern to make this hat in two different sizes.

Very cute! And fast to make! Every baby should have a picture taken in one like this!
It will fit for a very long time! You can fold over the brim then it would fit a small newborn.

Skills:
cast on stitches, knit, purl, knit 2 stitches together and working on double point needles (which is actually not so difficult since you are working on really big needles).

Materials:
bulky weight yarn (I give you a suggestion in the pattern), a set of double point needles (4 needles) size 15, tapestry needle, scissors, crochet hook for fringes.
