Looking for a fun summer project, just in time for end-of-the-year teacher gifts? Look no further! The pineapple is a sign of “welcome” to others and represents friendship, hospitality and warmth. With a cute little succulent, it is perfect for gifting to others or displaying as an accent in your home!

This pattern creates a planter cover for a 2 - 2.5 inch succulent planter. The pattern includes detailed instructions with step-by-step photos. I am always available for questions or support! This pattern is most appropriate for intermediate crocheters and beyond. An advanced beginner with experiencing using the bobble stitch and working in the round may also enjoy this pattern! It is a great stash-buster for scrap yarn!

Materials Needed Include:

  • Hook: Size F 3.75 mm (I used a Clover size F hook)
  • Yarn: Hobby Lobby’s I Love This Cotton Yarn in Curry
  • Stitch Marker (for the end of each circular row)
  • Needle (for weaving ends)
  • Succulent Plant (pattern should work for succulents in the 2-2.5 in range)
