The Pintetop Socks are the coziest new addition to your sock drawer. This pattern contains two versions to choose from: a full length version and a shortie version. The foot is worked the same for both versions and both versions produce a winter scene to enjoy all season long! These socks are worked from the cuff down, with a short rows heel and finished with a kitchener stitch at the toe.

Sizing:

S(M,L) 7.5”(9.5”, 11”) circumference. When measuring foot, make sure to measure at the widest part of your foot to ensure proper fit!

Suggested Yarn:

240 - 300 yards of fingering weight yarn of your choice. For long term wear, it is best to choose a yarn blend with nylon in it for strength!

Suggested Needles:

US 1.5 (2.5mm) 9” circulars, 32” (for magic loop method) or US 1.5 (2.5mm) DPNs for small circumference knitting.

Notions:

2 stitch markers, weaving needle, scissors.

Techniques featured:

knit stitches, purl stitches, slipped stitches, stranded colorwork, charted instructions, short row heel or afterthought heel, kitchener stitch for toe, cuff down sock knitting.
