A light, cozy shawl where fluffy brushed alpaca meets a contrasting silk mohair edge.

Pink Borderline is a small, soft and cozy shawl with a very simple construction. It combines two yarn textures that are not often used together: fluffy brushed alpaca and delicate silk mohair, which creates a light, contrasting border.
The shawl has a shallow triangular shape that sits comfortably around the neck and is easy to wear. Its construction begins with two symmetrical triangles, whose proportions are later subtly modified using short rows. This gives the shawl an elegant drape and a light, airy feel.
The project is quick and enjoyable to knit, making it a great option for beginner knitters as well. Because it requires only a small amount of yarn, it is also perfect for stash knitting.
