Pink Lace Pillow
This pillow is composed of pink lace flower granny squares. The back is a traditional granny square. I wrote a behind the scenes blog post that describes the inspiration behind the pattern and the process of creating it:

There are two videos on my YouTube channel for this pattern: one for the pink lace flower granny square and one for joining the flower squares. The pattern is written in both U.S. and UK terms (there are two pdfs). The written pattern also includes some pictures to explain the steps.
I used Rowan Summerlite DK yarn (100% cotton; 142 yd/ 50 g skeins) in the following shades: 3 powder pink (light pink), 2 pickles (brown), 1 rouge (raspberry), 1 khaki (green), 1 mushroom (lavender), and 2 duckling (light yellow). However, any dk weight yarn will work well! You will also need a 3.5 mm crochet hook, an 18 by 18 in (45 by 45 cm) pillow, and 5 buttons (1.5 cm in diameter). The buttons hold the bottom of the pillow together and allow it to be taken on and off of the insert. I hope you enjoy the pattern!
