This pink ombre blanket introduces a 3 spike cluster stitch which creates a highly textured pattern. The blanket is quite thick in spite of using only one strand of yarn at a time. The nature of the stitch is such that you cannot easily lose stitches in the making of the blanket. Any number of shades could be used to make the blanket with varying levels of contrast.
