This cowl can be worn pulled up over one’s ears or folded up around one’s neck, while the lower edge flares out over the shoulders.

Or work a shorter turtleneck, then continue the flare for a poncho. Combine the two for a Cowl/Poncho Combo – a “Concho”!

Finish the lower edge with an I-cord border, or add some panache with a “fur” edging.

Since it is worked top-down, you determine the length.

Yarn Required
Cowl: Approximately 200 grams (375 to 400 yards) Worsted Weight yarn

Concho: Approximately 500 grams (1000 to 1100 yards) Worsted Weight yarn
Optional: Approximately 50 grams (100 yards) faux fur Novelty yarn
