This advanced (adventurous) beginner design is a fun make and also pleasing on the eye.

Texture results from puff and post stitches.

Great for gifts, charity makes, and market stall stock.

Although Worsted weight yarn has been used for the example beanies, DK yarn can be used instead. A sizing guide is provided to help with selecting a foundation stitch number that corresponds to standard head circumference for toddler through to adult size.

Worsted yarn amount required for adult beanie: ~100-150g/3.4-5.3oz.

Hook for Worsted yarn: 5-6mm/ H-J depending on your tension.

Beanie instructions available for free on The Crochet Fix blog.
