I´ve made the Pion Cardigan some time ago and I wanted a Sweater in the same style so I designed Pion Sweater.

Pion is the swedish word for peony. The peony is a medical plant that has been used to everything from child birth to chasing away evil spirits. Today it´s the roots that is used for different kind of ailments.
People used to belive that the peony had magical powers. Many cultivaded it in their garden to protect them from “the evil eye”. You were supposed to dig up the roots by night becaus if the woodpecker saw you it would pick your eyes out.
