Meet Pip & Petunia – Two Best Friends Who Live At The Crafty Farm

Pip & Petunia are best friends since childhood. They spend their days together at the Crafty Farm where Petunia is taking care of the flower garden and Pip watches over the apple orchard. Pip planted for his best friend an entire corner of petunias because Petunia likes to make flower headbands for herself. Now she walks around most days wearing a petunia tiara and everybody compliments her for the beautiful colors. Pip carries sweet mini apples with him everywhere he goes, he just can’t get enough of them. When there are enough apples left in the kitchen, Petunia cooks apple pies for him.

This pattern contains 2 designs:

1. Pip The Pig which has a more complex blanket, split nail hands and a flower tiara (flower pattern included) classed as INTERMEDIATE level
2. Pip The Pig which has a simple granny blanket, easy hand pattern and an apple pattern included classed as EASY level

SIZES: 50cm in diameter. Your finish size my vary depending on your tension, hook and material used.

MATERIAL NEEDED: DK yarn (light worsted, #3):

• 2 x 100g balls in pink & 1 x 100g ball in grey in for each lovey
• small amounts of red, green and brown for the apple and flowers
• 12mm safety doll eyes
• toy stuffing

HOOK NEEDED: 5mm, 4.5mm and 3mm

SKILLS: Slip stitch, single crochet, double crochet, half double crochet, decrease, increase, back post/front post stitches. All special stitches are explained in detail.
