The alpaca is worked in the round from the bottom up as one continuous piece, starting from the legs and ending at the head. The arms are made separately and joined to the body as you go. The ears and nose are knitted separately and sewn on. The nose is embroidered with black yarn.
For the eyes, you can use safety eyes, sew-on beads, or embroider them with yarn.

For example:
• Drops Alpaca Bouclé + Drops Nord on 3.5 mm needles → approx. 31 cm tall
Materials:
• 100 g of Drops Alpaca Bouclé (held double) (50 g / 140 m)
• 15 g of Drops Nord (held double) (50 g / 170 m)
• 8 mm safety eyes or beads for sewing on
• black thread or matching yarn for embroidering the
nose (and eyes)
• other suitable yarn
Needles:
• 5 double-pointed needles, 3.5 mm, or
• 80–100 cm circular needles for Magic Loop, or
• Addi Crazy Trio 3.5 mm, or
• Choose needles 1–1.5 sizes smaller than recommended for your yarn
