Pippa Tee
Pippa Tee - digital knitting pattern (PDF)
The pippa tee is a fitted baby tee that is worked top-down. The front and back are first worked separately and then connected to be worked in the round. Then, the piece is worked flat again to make a slit on one side. The shoulders are then seamed together and stitches are picked up to make a collar and a buttonband for the slit on the side in 2x2 ribbing. Cap sleeves are then added by picking up stitches around the armhole and are shaped using short rows.
Gauge (after blocking): 10 x 10cm/4” x 4” = 20 sts x 30 rows in stockinette and 24 sts x 36 rows in 2x2 ribbing.
Do not forget making a gauge swatch and blocking it before knitting this top - otherwise you risk making the wrong size for you.
