Pippa Tee + Pippa Sweater
Pippa Tee - digital knitting pattern (PDF)
This pattern includes instructions for the Pippa Tee, as well as the Pippa Sweater!
The pippa tee is a fitted baby tee that is worked top-down. The front and back are first worked separately and then connected to be worked in the round. Then, the piece is worked flat again to make a slit on one side. The shoulders are then seamed together and stitches are picked up to make a collar and a buttonband for the slit on the side in 2x2 ribbing. Cap sleeves are then added by picking up stitches around the armhole and are shaped using short rows.
Gauge (after blocking): 10 x 10cm/4” x 4” = 20 sts x 30 rows in stockinette and 24 sts x 36 rows in 2x2 ribbing.
Do not forget making a gauge swatch and blocking it before knitting this top - otherwise you risk making the wrong size for you.
Sizing: 8 sizes are included in the pattern for now. The sizes 1 (2) 3 (4) 5 (6) 7 (8) fit measurements 79-83 (84-89) 90-94 (95-99) 100-104 (105-109) 110-115 (116-120) cm/31”-32,5” (33”-35”) 35,5”-37” (37,5”-39”) 39”-41” (41”-43”) 43,5”-45” (46”-47”). Tee version: 300g (350g) 350g (400g) 400g (450g) 500g (550g) of Drops Bomull-Lin - 53% Cotton, 47% Linen (85m/93yds per 50g skein).

Alternatively, you can use a different aran weight / 10 ply yarn, either in a similar mix of cotton and linen as the suggested yarn or in wool for a warmer version. If you want to make a version with a flowier, thinner fabric, you can use a DK weight / 8 ply yarn. If you choose to use wool, you will need a smaller amount of yarn than suggested above.
The pattern includes 8 sizes for now as I was not able to find testers for sizes upwards of 120cm/47”. If you would like to knit this top and are not included in the size range, message me on instagram @marielenatricot or through e-mail: marielenatricot@gmail.com and I will send you the pattern in your size for free. I would love to be able to update the pattern to be more size inclusive!
