This pattern is part of the collection, Fishermen’s Blues, a collaboration between Magasin Duett and 8 independent designers. Here you can find a beautiful video of the collection: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=gzNiaggJuBk

The fun combination of stripes, slip stitches and garter stitch brings a lot of knitting fun and will carry you through this happy knit in no time. Endless possibilities for color combinations make this pattern versatile and suitable for every taste: Breton, monochrome, gradient, rainbow…everything is possible! This timeless, unisex design with set-in sleeve construction is suitable for the whole family, from toddler to adult, and has a comfy fit everybody will love.

The completely seamless sweater is worked top-down beginning with a provisional cast-on. The shoulders are shaped with short rows. After the back (knitted flat) is completed the fronts are worked separately (each knitted flat). Both sides of the front are then joined and the front is knitted top-down (and flat) to the underarm. The back and front are joined in the round for the lower body, which is worked top-down in the round to the hem. Sleeve stitches are picked up around the armhole. The sleeve cap is shaped with short rows. When the sleeve cap is completed the sleeve is knitted top-down in the round to the cuff. The neckband of the three smallest sizes has a button for easier dressing.

Pippi Longstocking was my childhood heroine and this sweater is my little homage to her!
