The hat is knitted in the round on double pointed needles or cable needles using magic loop, from the bottom up.

The pattern is inspired by the jumper that Pippi Longstocking wears in some of the movies.

It’s only available in one size, which I found fitted my son from birth (folding up the hem) to about 6 months.

Material:
• Yarn – Drops Baby Merino 175m 50g in 3 colours
(usually white, red, and blue)
• Needles - 3mm double pointed needles or cable
needles using magic loop technique (OR whatever you need to meet the gauge
• Sewing needle

Gauge:
32 stitches and 29 rows in stockinette for 10x10cm

Meterage:
Finished hat weighs 22g, which works out to about
80m in total
